Be Consistent

As a business owner or entrepreneur, I've encountered my fair share of challenges, and one of the toughest for me has been maintaining consistency behind the screen. Whether it's crafting compelling email campaigns, engaging social media posts on Instagram, or attempting to create captivating YouTube videos, some tasks just don't resonate with me. Even when I do muster the courage to give them a try, I often find myself unsure of where to even begin.

However, there's one aspect that feels undeniably right to me: writing a blog and sticking with it. There's a sense of fulfillment and authenticity that comes with this form of expression that I haven't found elsewhere.

Lately, I've been immersing myself in the book of Proverbs, drawing wisdom and guidance from its timeless teachings. Today, as I delved into Proverbs 13:12-14, the words struck a chord: "Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when dreams come true, there is life and joy. People who despise advice will find themselves in trouble; those who respect it will succeed. The advice of the wise is like a life-giving fountain; those who accept it avoid the snares of death."

In the midst of reflecting on these verses, my thoughts drifted to my wife. Amidst the rollercoaster of ups and downs of running a business (which sometimes seem more like downs than ups), I recalled her gentle yet firm reminders to remain consistent in my endeavors. While the concept may seem elementary and straightforward, I've often been guilty of seeking instant gratification rather than patiently building towards success.

Today's revelation, however, serves as a poignant reminder to heed the wisdom of those around me. My wife, in her own quiet wisdom, has been a beacon of guidance, and I'm immensely grateful for her presence in my life. I recognize now that God has been speaking to me through her, and I am truly thankful.
